The concept of God is the central point of Gandhi's thought, around which his principles of non-violence, Satyagraha, Ekadashi Vrat, etc. revolve. This is the root of all his thoughts and the ultimate essence of the universe. To call him a believer in God, like any devotee, would not be an exaggeration, for "Ishavasyamidam Sarva Yatkincha Jagatyaam Jagat" (God is the essence of the world) is his inner faith. Gandhi's thought considers God from two perspectives: a religious perspective and a philosophical one. The first perspective was particularly prevalent in the first half of his life, where he portrayed God in a manner similar to medieval philosophers. The second perspective, which sees God as truth, is the ultimate conclusion of his life's experiences. Here, Gandhi's thought presents a completely new perspective on theology. Therefore, it would be appropriate to interpret Gandhi's God from both these perspectives.
